This year's Pacific Rim Championship in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada proved to be a huge success, once again, for USA Gymnastics teams!
Congratulations to Ebee Price and Kyla Ross on their top Senior, individual and All-Around scores. Price's All-Around score of 59.900 put her in the Gold with just 1.200 points above Ross, who placed second.
The talk of the championship was Price's floor exercise, featured below, where her highly technical routine looked like a walk in the park. Afterwards, she commented that this was the highlight of the competition for her. She was also very excited she was able to lead her team to win the All-Around, while winning three out of four individual event gold medals in a competition where she has never before competed. When interviewed, Price recognized the good nature of the spectators, praising them for enjoying the entire competition as a whole, instead of rooting for one gymnast over another.
Pulling through the ranks in the Junior Division, Bailie Key gave fellow gymnasts a run for their money, as well. Her performances earned her three individual Gold Medals, an All-Around Gold, and a team Gold Medal. She's one to keep your eye on in the upcoming years.
All of the women from Team USA competed in an elegant Under Armour competition leotard, designed specifically for their team events. To learn more about Under Armour leotards, and specifically about Team USA's leos, check out our post about Team USA at Jesolo Trophy.
