On July 17, 2014 Nickelodeon is hosting their first ever Kids' Choice Sports Awards, where our very own Gabrielle Douglas is in the running to win Best Female Athlete! The Kids' Choice Sports Awards show is looking to bring together some of the best athletes together for one night of games, friendly competitions, and of course, an awards show honoring categories such as Best Female Athlete, Best Male Athlete, and much more!
GK is voting for Gabby Douglas to take the title as the Best Female Athlete. This GK Champion is the first American gymnast in history to win the Olympic All-Around and Team Gold in the same Olympic year. She also won the Subway Sportswoman of the Year, the YoungStars Award at the 2013 BET Awards and was recognized as the Associated Press' 2012 Female Athlete of the Year.
