For years, the Netherlands Men's Artistic Gymnasts were not recognized as a national team and were unable to compete as one. After 2012 Olympic Champion Epke Zonderland's astounding performance on the high bar at the 2014 World Championship, which won him a gold medal for the second consecutive year, the Netherlands Federation had the confirmation of strength and victorious consistency they needed to establish a National Men's Team for the first time.
After an inspiring interview with Epke Zonderland, Giel Beelen, a famous DJ from the Netherlands, wanted to celebrate this recent victory by finding a strong theme song for the newly recognized national team. Beelen worked to orchestrate Elite gymnasts, Zonderland, Bart Deurloo, and Casimir Schmidt, to be featured in Kensington's music video for their newest single, "War." From this, a new campaign, "Let's Rock Rio", was launched to recognize and encourage the Men's National Gymnastics Team to bring home the gold at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio.
