Pink pride was in abundance last weekend at the 2015 Pink Invitational held at the Convention Center in Philadelphia, February 27- March 1. This year, almost 3,000 gymnasts came to sport their pink poise and support those affected by breast cancer in the gymnastics community. Everything from sunglasses and tube socks, to tiaras and tutus dressed up their sparkling GK gymnastics tank leotard. Many of the athletes got a chance to meet GK Champion Nastia Liukin. Between signing autographs, a meet and greet lunch, and wishing good luck to the athletes before each competition, this inspiring champion came to stand with Unite for HER and GK in supporting the cause.

This year, UFH, Swarovski®, and GK put a little twist on the traditional silent auction. In the past, we presented gymnastics sports bras to be auctioned off, but this year, the Treasured Chest Leotard Collection featured Swarovski® embellished GK tank leotards designed by celebrity gymnasts, including Aly Raisman, Kyla Ross, Kim Zmeskal, and more. The Unite for HER Pink Invitational is so much more than just a gymnastics meet. It is a chance to teach athletes of all ages about the importance of being educated on breast cancer awareness. GK is honored to be a part of such an inspiring event year after year.
