Las Vegas hardly knew what hit them when some of the most talented male gymnasts in the nation arrived at the 2015 Winter Cup Challenge to vie for the gold. GK Champion, Sam Mikulak, was among these talented athletes representing the U.S. National Team in award winning style. His seemingly effortless execution on the pommel horse landed him in sixth place with just a .65 points away from bronze.
Being born into a family of accomplished gymnasts, it was no surprise Sam's parents planted the love for gymnastics at a very young age. From the time he could walk, they were teaching him gymnastics skills. At age two, he began taking classes at SCATS in Orange County, CA. Now 20 years later, this Sr. National Team Member holds seven NCAA gold medals, represented the U.S. in the 2012 Olympic Games in London, and was a part of the 2014 World team bronze medalist, just to name a few. 
On the left, Sam's down to earth personality and refreshing sense of humor keeps him at ease as he prepares to compete.
