Recently, Lauryn Freburger, a former Elite Sportswear contracted model, tweeted violent and racist remarks regarding the Baltimore, Maryland riots. These comments, which have since been removed, were captured via screen shot and circulated throughout Twitter and Facebook.
We find the statements made by Miss Freburger on her Twitter account to be extremely offensive. Models are not Elite Sportswear employees. Any views or opinions expressed by Miss Freburger or any Elite Sportswear models, either via social media or in person, are those of the model themselves and do not represent the views or opinions of Elite Sportswear and its employees.
As a result of these statements, Elite Sportswear has terminated any and all ties with Miss Freburger. All images of Miss Freburger have been removed from our website.
